2019: a year of milestones

At Rada, reimagining water controls is our vision for a better future. It’s born out of our desire to create washrooms that promote people’s safety, wellbeing and social responsibility.

It’s also what drives our commitment to make constant progress.

Since I became Rada’s Commercial Business Director earlier this year, I’ve seen our team’s energy, expertise and commitment come to fruition, in the form of some truly exciting milestones.

Our new Electronic Washroom range, for example, reflects our mission to help create environmentally conscious spaces. With some of the lowest flow rates on offer, the products are built to conserve resources and keep running costs down. With a sleek form and reliable functionality, the range provides a great washroom experience for the people who use them.

Understanding user experience is so important to us. Seeing how it shapes our design journey is inspiring. This human approach is what motivates our bold ideas.

To create pioneering designs that improve user outcomes while meeting our customers’ needs, we need to challenge everything we know and start afresh. We’ve done just that with our new generation of digital taps, designed for healthcare.

Launching later this year, the arrival of our new Intelligent Care range will be a huge moment in Rada’s history. The transformative, digital taps offer unprecedented levels of safety, precision and smart control, all to help keep patients safe and support staff with compliance.

People are everything to Rada – they underpin everything we do, so safety is a critical part of the design process. Talking to the people who use our products is how we come to truly understand the problems we want to help solve.

Caring for products really means caring for people. This is why we value service just as highly as products, and why we invest the same level of energy into finding new and better ways of working.

Rada’s service offering has continued to grow this year. We’re forming lasting, collaborative partnerships with our customers to make sure their washrooms always work at their best.

Our constant drive to deliver the best product and service solutions is fuelled by our desire to help create better, healthier spaces for people. We’ve really hit the ground running in 2019, and our energy and momentum continues to grow.

While it’s great to reflect on our achievements so far, we’re just as focused on the future. For us, embracing the latest technology is at the heart of this and it’s why we’re ready to harness cloud-based technology.

For example, we’re exploring the new potential and service enhancements that live monitoring can unlock, so that we can continue to deliver greater peace of mind and assurance that end users are safe.
