Education is a tough place for taps and showers. Products in the sector face a non-stop examination of their durability and fitness for purpose, with demanding water and energy conservation targets too. Commercial taps, showers valves, eyewash stations for education.
Lessons learned
Schools typically mix days of intense activity with less hectic weekends and holidays. This can create potentially perfect conditions for bacteria to breed. The solution is to store water at temperatures above 60°C, but this raises the problem of delivering hot water at much cooler safe temperatures - storing water at the most appropriate temperatures/optimum temperature. Purposefully designed products deliver safe water at the point of use.
